Hmmph. I feel slandered Slava. The Big Boy hamburger or the In-n-Out hamburger are high water marks of culinary excellence (depending on your upbringing). But I do agree that ketchup on anything is an abomination for the adult palate. It’s forgivable for children eight years old and under.

I’ve never had Kotlete but it was probably a vocabulary word when I studied Russian in the 80s. I will take it upon myself to try it out.

Have you ever tried Pljeskavica or cevapi? Like most things communist, Tito did it better because he could draw on Ottoman and Habsburg legacies.
